Head coach Ken Maisel has been coaching wrestling since 1990 and wrestled at WVU from 1986-90.

Assistant coach Cody Hamlin is in his first year of coaching for the Hawks. He was a state runner up in 2014 and was a member of the WVU wrestling team. Assistant coach Ryan Dearman was a 2-time state champ (2003, 2004), while assistant coach Mike Pastuch brings over 28 years coaching experience to the mats. University claimed NCAC team championship honors in 2001, 2004, 2010, and 2011
University is fed by Mountaineer Middle School, Westwood Middle School, and Mountaineer Wrestling Club. Coach Maisel looks forward to a bright future with solid feeder programs in place.
